Liking the suite of retro-themed posters for Cars 2. I hear they have gone all James Bond for the second instalment. This poster features Michael Caine’s spy character.
Its weird how I love to discover all kinds of novel Star Wars-related imagery online. Yet I find the actual films themselves very difficult to watch these days – due to extremely high degree of cheeseball corniness and wooden dialogue…

Your Monday morning pre-work distraction. The nerd in me really likes this suite of Mad Men-style retro prints of the classic superheroes on Etsy. Some of the characters are a bit too obscure for me, but I am a sucker for that fifties illustration style.
New York “Metropolitan Etiquette Authority” posters advise commuters on how to behave. We could well do with a version of this particular poster for Dublin city commuters who invariably scrummage their way onto each carriage before letting anyone get off.
One of a series of notional Olympics 2012 posters on Alan Clarke Graphics. The simple elegance appeals to me.
